Abstract: The paper presents some theoretical results of Lamb wave nonlinearity.It shows that the nonlinearity of Lamb waves is related to kd values,symmetries and mode orders,and much complicated compared with that of nondispersive guided waves such as surface acoustic waves,stoneley waves.The second harmonics of Lamb waves are only symmetric.
